Its name comes for the breed of merinos sheep. These sheep originally come from spain, but they are now more present in new-zealand and australia. There are also small breedings in arles, france. The specialty of merinos wool is that it is very soft for the skin as the sheep doesn’t produce jarre, a fiber that has a tendency to scratch the skin. Throughout the day, your body’s temperature changes, it gets warmer, colder, and sometimes, it sweats. This changes through the day and may cause discomfort. Merinos wool is a thermo-regulating and anti-bacteria fabric that helps the body breath.
