The Oiva teapot is made of brown stoneware, which is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer proof. The outside of the teapot is naturally rough with no glaze while the inside has a clear glaze. The pot has a wooden handle and knob and we recommend washing it by hand. Please note that variations in tone and colour are naturally occurring characteristics of brown stoneware, making each product charming and unique.
